Project Assistant for Asian Choose Tobacco-Free (ACT) project

$ 13/ hour, 20 hours/ week

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with the implementation of ACT program in the greater Columbus area

Qualifications

• Understanding and knowledge of issues affecting Asian American communities requested. • Interest and experience in tobacco r prevention or other health-related fields preferred. • Excellent speaking and writing skills required. • Ability to work some nights and/or weekends. • Ability to manage work schedule, complete work by deadlines and work independently. • Flexible, must be able to work with multiple organizations. • Effective interpersonal skills with communities and project staff. • Proficiency with PC based computers and MS Office software required. • Contribute to the development of a team effort encouraging growth, professionalism and active participation of program staff. • Ability to support the mission, goals and objectives of AACS and tobacco Prevention Program Education Minimum Bachelors degree. Preferred fields in health education, public health, social work, or related field. valid driving license is required.

Interpreting and Translation Services is currently looking for bilingual interpreters and translators for:
