Asian American Community Services

Instruction in these classes is designed to teach learners to speak, write and read the English language. Four levels of instruction will be offered. There is a registration fee of $15.00 per person. There is no fee for the classes. Each student is tested and placed in the appropriate class. We offer four different levels of English, from very little English to fluent English speakers who might need help with grammar and writing.

Basic ESL Classes

This comprehensive class teaches the life skills and all of the language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). This is a practical, pre-beginning class for people who speak very little English.

Beginner ESL Classes

This is an intermediate comprehensive class teaching life skills and all of the language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar). This is a practical class for people who speak some English.

Conversational ESL Classes

Improve your listening, speaking, and pronunciation skills in this class. Fun, practical conversation activities will challenge you and improve your English Class size is small with lots of practice time for each student! Learn to use English in conversation. Intermediate Comprehensive ESLFocus on reading and writing skills in this class. You will increase vocabulary, improve grammar, read everyday material, and write basic words and sentences.
